What are the benefits of a roof top tent?
A Roof Top Tent has may benefits. Firstly, it's convenience and ease of setup. It takes less than one minute to be fully set up. Secondly, you are elevated off the ground, up out of the elements. You also get more amazing views to wake up to being higher up. Thirdly, our roof top tents are super light so it doesn't affect your vehicle GVM!
How do you mount a roof top tent to your car?
To mount a roof top tent to your vehicle, it will require you to have a roof rack of sorts, headboard & ladder rack or canopy setup. The RTT has two rails running lengths ways that allow you to clamp it to your setup, either with the universal U bolt kit or simply just bolting it down. Please refer to our instruction manual on the product page for more in depth information.
What inclusions come with a BZB Industries roof top tent?
Unlike most roof top tents on the market, BZB Industries roof top tents come fully optioned out at a very reasonable price. 200Watts Solar, 12V panel (USB, Cig Socket), Roof racks and much more are all included!
How does the solar panel and 12v panel connect up?
Both the solar panel and 12v panel has an external Anderson plug fitted. The 12v panel has the Anderson plug mounted to the base of the tent so you simply just run a lead from that straight to your battery. The solar panel, you have to ensure you run it through a regulator otherwise it could potential damage your battery, as the solar comes unregulated due to being so slim with no room for a built-in regulator. Please contact your 12v specialist to discuss how you should setup your 12v system properly.
Are your Roof Top tents waterproof?
Yes, all our roof top tents come waterproofed from the factory however, we still recommend seasoning your new RTT and also spraying Oztrail Aquaproof Spray on the canvas to ensure its longevity.
Why use a roof top tent?
Using a roof top tent allows you to be elevated off the ground out of the elements such as mud, dirt, sand and snow. It's provides great views compared to other camping gear like swags and is far more comfortable & easy to setup!
How does shipping work?
We can only ship the roof top tents to nearest collection depot for you to pick up from or to any commercial address with a forklift. Unfortunately the couriers don't deliver to residential addresses. Due to the prices always varying please contact us for a tailored quote to your preferred area/location.
How to use a roof top tent?
Our roof top tents unlock with two latches, then you simply lift the tent roof up and the gas struts do the rest. You receive four flexible poles to set up the rain fly and it's easy as that to setup!
